 Mission Community

'Moving on in Mission & Ministry' is the name of a report that the Exeter Diocese is using to restructure the Church of England in Devon into a network of 'Mission Communities'.

Our Mission Community is one of the first to be formed in Devon. One of our aims is to develop work with secondary-age young people in our area.

The Culm Valley Mission Community includes the parishes of:

  • Blackborough
  • Kentisbeare
  • Uffculme
  • Willand

Between them the churches in the Mission Community offer a range of opportunities for worship, house groups and social events. See links to other churches for further information.
Colin Coombes, who lives in the village, is the local link person.
Other pastoral needs are dealt with by Revd. Rob Wilkinson, Mission Community leader and vicar of Willand.
